The multimedia producer is an inspired video/audio journalist who will create a wide range of content — authentic, compelling, and steeped in Hampshire's visual and literary sensibility — to engage the College's varied constituencies and advance the business goals for admissions, retention, development, alum relations, the academy, brand-impact, and more. The multimedia producer is a storyteller whose work will differentiate Hampshire in the marketplace and reach the heads and hearts of prospective students, their parents, and guidance counselors; alums; funders; prospective faculty; media; and other stakeholders and audiences. The multimedia producer will work closely with the communication's senior team and colleagues/clients around campus to understand the goals of each film, podcast, or other project and the underlying strategies to achieve them. This position reports to the chief creative officer.

Graphic design (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and still photography experience a plus. Must have excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced professional environment; and capacity to work harmoniously in teams. A commitment to working with people from diverse backgrounds is essential. This position requires a valid driver’s license and must successfully meet the requirements of Hampshire College’s driver credentialing policy.
