Hampshire College, an independent, innovative liberal arts institution and member of the Five College consortium, is accepting applications for an annual giving program coordinator in the office of college advancement.

The annual giving program coordinator, working under the direction of the associate director of annual giving, helps with all aspects of the Hampshire Fund, including mailings, appeals, and stewardship, with special attention to giving from the youngest classes. The coordinator directly oversees the Phonathon, Graduate Gift Program and Culture of Philanthropy programs. This position is funded through August 31, 2020.

An associates degree and one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate students to donate to the Graduate Gift Program; experience managing people or projects, and the ability to train students on how to ask for gifts through the Phonathon and Graduate Gift Program. Knowledge of databases and proficiency in Excel preferred. The program coordinator will be able to work independently and as part of a team; have an understanding of Hampshire Fund fundraising practices and strategies; and possess sstrong organizational skills.  A commitment to working with people from diverse backgrounds is essential.
