The candidate must be able to help publicize College achievements in national and international press; stay informed of campus community concerns; capture Hampshire's character and distinctive point of view in all written projects; be an excellent researcher and interviewer; and able to organize, set priorities, and manage several projects at once with a minimum of supervision. Successful candidate must be adaptable with a  willingness and capacity to “turn on a dime” when priorities change. A commitment to working with people from diverse backgrounds is essential.
