Pay Range/ Status: $43,000 - $47,000 Exempt

Reports to: Senior Director of Facilities and Business Operations

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the facilities manager and in accordance with established procedures and standards, supervises the custodial staff as they perform various tasks including general housekeeping and custodial duties; special projects; event setups and support; snow removal and other general assignments. Responsible for the administration of the department's Quality Assurance Program. Assists in the coordination between faculties & grounds custodial and trade departments with other campus departments. Plans and implements custodial services related to campus faculties summer cleanup, year round special events, and summer programs. Is responsible for the purchase, inventory and maintenance of custodial supplies and equipment. Assists in the selection and oversees the work of outside vendors related to custodial services.

- Ability to read, write, understand, and give written and verbal instruction in English.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Must have 3-5 years of custodial experience, with some either supervisory or technical (floor program, etc.) experience.
Alternatives to formal education and paid work experience may be considered as equivalent qualifications to include military service/training, volunteering, activism, and other non-traditional programs and experiences related to the position.
